In December of 2015 I attended a 5 day intensive MSC course with Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer in California. In August of 2016 I completed the 6 day teacher training with Michelle Becker and Steve Hickman in Pennsylvania. I am now a Trained Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion. I have taught retreats in body awareness and mindfulness practices for almost 20 years and have been committed to ongoing inner work through psychotherapy and spiritual exploration for 30 years. The MSC work has been a way to integrate all the training and inner work I have done through deepening into self-compassion and opening my heart more fully to myself and others.
I will be offering the 8 week course in Mindful Self-Compassion in the spring of 2019. This is a beautiful entry way into understanding self-compassion, supporting a mindfulness practice, surprising yourself with the delights of connecting to your own heart and meeting other wonderful souls on the journey of inner work.
It will take place at a Calm retreat in Sebringville just 6 minutes West of Stratford, ON on Saturday mornings from 9:30am-12:30pm from March 23, 2019 – June 1, 2019 (excluding Easter weekend and Victoria Day weekend). The cost is $350 and will include the Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook.
